So it's my birthday today! 

The big 28!!

I like to watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show 

and when it's her birthday she likes to give things away.

Auction for the Alden Family

This story breaks my heart.

Nick Alden was in Germany on his way to Afghanistan 

when a terrorist opened fire on a bus at the airport.

He was shot and killed as he was trying to save the other airmen that were on the bus. 

He was 24, had a young wife at home and he was the daddy of two young children {ages 3 and 1}.

There is an online auction going on through March 30 and all the 

proceeds will go to the Alden family.
